Our weekly Writers Workshop can provide the focus you need. Participants are expected to bring at least 10 new pages of material each week to share and receive real-time constructive feedback within a supportive critique framework. [Beverages provided for core group workshops.]
Suggested donation of $5/workshop or $10/month to offset meet-up expenses. (Note: this is less than you might spend at starbucks and hopefully far more productive!)

Round table discussion of "Social Media Marketing for Independent Authors" featuring local authors Barbie Herrera (Portrait of Our Marriage) and Stanton Swafford (China Sea).
A local writers' group with a workshop format in a friendly atmosphere. This is an opportunity to really interact - assisting each other with self-publishing, editing, marketing, beta readers, query letters and any topics relevant to writing and publishing. Attendees can make suggestions on how to make the workshops a continuing success. The meet-ups are led by Stanton Swafford, a local author with a debut novel about to be published.

Back to Margina's in North Torrance. We access our scripts via Google Drive. You'll be given a folder with your name, into which you'll drop a PDF or DOC of the script pages you want read aloud. Please give Pamela (the organizer) a Gmail address so she can share the drive with you. If possible, bring a tablet or laptop to the meetup to read the scripts on.
